Bob and Julianne Kehlor have lived in Hawai'i since 1952. They lived most of that time on Moloka'i and then retired on Maui.


Bob worked for Del Monte in the Pineapple Industry from 1952 until 1983. He started as a Research Supervisor and retired as Manager of both the Moloka'i and O'ahu Plantations.

Julianne received her Masters Degree in Library Studies and became a school librarian at Moloka'i Intermediate and High School, Mililani High School on O'ahu, Maui High School and Kahului Public Library before retiring.

Owning Hale Kai Apartment 120 is a dream come true which started many years ago. Hale Kai has been a cherished vacation spot for the Kehlor family as well as for many repeat visitors. Every Thanksgiving we would come here as a family, to snorkel, swim and have a grand time together. Memories that last a lifetime.

Always with the intent to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the apartment has been extensively remodeled.
